Google Play Books now available in Mexico
Despite going on quite the [world](http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/24/google-play-books-app-japan-translation-place/) [tour](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/28/google-play-books-comes-to-india-with-an-updated-android-app/), Google Play Books hasn't been available as close by as Mexico. That's been rectified: the online bookstore is now open in the country, with both local titles and prices in Pesos. As with some other countries, the expansion also gives Mexicans their first real taste of Google Play content beyond Android apps. Those who have a Galaxy in Guadalajara just need to start browsing.

Google Currents for Android now supports audio playback, improves syncing between devices
We don't see the Android -- or iOS, for that matter -- version of [Google Currents ](http://www.engadget.com/tag/google%20currents/)get quite as many updates as, say, [Google+](http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/30/edit-google-for-android-app-hands-on/) or [Maps](http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/27/google-maps-offline-android/), but today its Mountain View creators have stuffed the app with some tidbits that are sure to come in handy to those using it on a daily basis. Most notably, Currents for Android is now more friendly with editions including audio content, adding a media bar which will allow for easy playback of such files within the application. Additionally, Google also gave its [magazine-like app](http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/11/google-currents-app-updated-with-international-support-offline/) a boost by enhancing syncing between devices, making it rather facile for folks to pick up where they left off on a story. Go on and grab the updated version now from Google Play -- in the meantime, we'll still be pondering whether or not we should insert [a shameless plug](http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/02/engadget-now-available-in-google-currents/).

Google Keep note taking service officially launches on web and Android (video)
The Google Keep note taking service that [leaked out a few days ago](http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/18/google-keep-note-app-leak/) has officially launched. There's a website and an Android app for now, and a post on the Google Drive blog it's intended for users to quickly jot down ideas. They're saved on Google Drive, and on Android 4.2.2 there's a lock screen widget available for even easier access. Check after the break for a trailer explaining the new service's features, or just hit the links below to try it out for yourself.

Facebook's first direct app update heads to Google Play, won't be the last
More than a few of us were surprised when Facebook tried pushing Android app updates [outside of Google Play](http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/15/facebook-update-skirts-play-store/). Was it switching app distribution models? Not quite. We've since learned that Facebook was trialling a program that lets social networkers volunteer for beta tests, and the same update is now available in Google Play for everyone. The update isn't special in itself, mostly adding profile photo changes (also seen on iOS) as well as ways to hide or report posts. However, it also includes the beta version's request for permission to download files without notification when on WiFi, which may let testers receive future pre-release updates even when they haven't explicitly approved non-Google Play installations -- we've reached out to Facebook to verify that this is the case. No matter how much Facebook expands the beta pool, prospective Guinea pigs and cover shot seekers just need to visit the source link.

Rogers clears Suretap NFC payments on some Android and BlackBerry 10 devices
While Canadians got a major NFC payment system through [Rogers' Suretap](http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/17/cibc-mobile-payment-app-reaches-blackberry-app-world/) service late last year, it was largely defined by what it couldn't do: there was only one platform to use, in only some places, with only one bank. Those horizons are at last broadening, as the carrier just certified a much wider range of phones for Suretap-capable apps. Android at last joins the party with approval for Suretap use on LG's [Optimus G](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/19/lg-optimus-g-review-a-quad-core-powerhouse-with-nexus-aspiratio/), as well as Samsung's [Galaxy S III](http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/20/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-review-shootout-atandt-vs-sprint/) and [Galaxy Note II](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/08/samsung-galaxy-note-ii-review/). BlackBerry fans also won't have to cling to older devices now that [the Z10](http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/30/blackberry-z10-review/) is good to go. More than a few pieces of the NFC puzzle are still missing, of course. Beyond waiting for the apps themselves, there's no certification for Windows Phone 8 or a broad range of Android devices, and customers still don't have the freedom to choose their banks or carriers. Still, we're glad that there will be at least some choice in hardware for future wallet-free trips to Tim Hortons.

Sprint allows its prepaid carrier partners to de-brand Android phones, rid devices of bloatware
In a move that could only be viewed as a step in the right direction, Sprint has just made a major move in the battle against bloatware. It's newly-unveiled [Custom Branded Device Program](http://newsroom.sprint.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=2539) is being introduced just as prepaid carriers are beginning to see something of a resurgence. In a nutshell, the initiative enables its MVNO partners (carriers like Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile) to customize white-label Android phones. In case you needed to hear it another way, it'll give those partners the ability to "completely de-brand devices from Sprint." Of course, this opens the door for said partners to litter these phones with their own software, but it also provides an option to see phones in a manner that Americans rarely see unless they opt for pricier global (and unlocked) models.
Sprint is hoping that the program will allow its MVNO partners -- carriers who sell phones under their own brand but actually rely on Sprint's network for service -- to "have greater, and potentially quicker, access to a large selection of completely de-branded marquee Android handsets out of Sprint and Boost Mobile device inventory with volume pricing included." Presently, Sprint has three devices available for this program -- [LG Optimus G](http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/07/lg-optimus-g-sprint-jelly-bean-update/), [LG Mach](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/09/lg-mach-for-sprint-hands-on/) and [Sprint Flash](http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/13/sprint-quietly-launches-zte-flash/) -- but additional devices are expected to be added by the month's end. Perhaps most interestingly, we [reported](http://www.engadget.com/2011/07/19/sprints-fared-adib-we-made-a-conscious-decision-to-scale-back/) back in July of 2011 that Sprint was making a "conscious decision to scale back bloatware on smartphones." Here's hoping that decision is soon realized.

Jawbone Up fitness band gets an Android app, wider availability outside the US
Well, this took long enough, don'tcha think? Ever since the original [Jawbone Up](http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/06/jawbone-up-review/) fitness tracker came out, we've been saying it needs an Android app so you can use it with more than just an iDevice. Heck, even when the redesigned [second-gen version](http://www.engadget.com/2012/12/07/jawbone-up-review-2012/) went on sale last year, it was _still_ for iOS only. Finally, though, that Android app is here, and it's (almost -- we'll let you know when it's live) ready to download in the Google Play store.
Like the iOS version it's free, and can be used to log daily meals, as well as view pretty charts illustrating your various sleep and activity patterns. You'll also notice some strong similarities in the UI, though the iOS version has a few features the Android software doesn't have yet, such as the ability to share things on Twitter and Facebook. The band, too, is the same as ever, which means you can use it with a mix of iOS and Android devices, if you so choose. Finally, there's one last (very big) group of people who will be getting to try the Up for the first time: the wristband is now for sale in Europe, with Asia, Australia and the Middle East to follow next month.

New Swype beta touts additional Advanced Language Models, Smart Editor enhancements
Swype's been doing pretty well at keeping the early-adopting folk equipped with the [latest and greatest](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/18/latest-swype-beta-brings-hotwords-knows-what-gangnam-style-is/) it has to offer in the swiping-instead-of-typing world. And to keep the ball rolling, a new [Swype beta](http://www.engadget.com/tag/swype+beta/) (v1.4.9.13905) is now available for those who enjoy trying things before they become available to the masses, with one of the main highlights of this release being the addition of Hindi and Belgium Dutch to the list of Advanced Language Models. There's more, however, as [Swype](http://www.engadget.com/tag/Swype/) also loaded its latest beta package with under-the-hood enhancements to the Smart Editor and improved tap input responsiveness for all languages it's available in -- which should go hand in hand with those other idiom-friendly features that were announced [back in January](http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/07/swype-living-language-crowd-sourcing/). Regardless of it being a version sporting an abundance of numerical digits, it's safe to say many avid Swype beta fans will still find it worthwhile -- because, let's face it, who doesn't love [betas](http://www.engadget.com/tag/beta/)?

Nvidia CEO disappointed with Windows RT, prays to Outlook god
"We expected to have sold more than we did," he said Tuesday. "I think everybody expected to have sold more than we did."
Huang was speaking to financial analysts on the sidelines of Nvidia's GPU Technology Conference in San Jose, California.
Windows RT is a version of Windows 8 for ARM-based chips like Nvidia's Tegra processors. Traditional versions of Windows are written to run on Intel and compatible chips, but they won't run on ARM processors. With ARM becoming so popular in tablet computers, Microsoft developed Windows RT to match Android.

This leaked 5-inch ZTE handset could be headed to Sprint's LTE lineup
Much of [ZTE's](http://www.engadget.com/tag/zte/) [MWC 2013](http://www.engadget.com/tag/zte,%20mwc2013/) focus was its desire to go from white label to global brand name. And from the looks of these leaked shots, the Chinese OEM's taking that goal seriously, purportedly prepping a new handset for [Sprint](http://www.engadget.com/tag/sprint/). Going by the rumored name "Quantum," the handset falls below flagship status, allegedly running Android Jelly Bean and bearing a Snapdragon S4 processor, 5-inch 720p display, 1GB RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera housed in an outsized circular module. There's no visible carrier branding anywhere on the device to confirm its possible Sprint LTE destiny -- only a logo in the notification pane and an anonymous tip, as reported to _Android Police_, pegs it for that. If this leak does indeed pan out, then that's good news for Sprint subs looking for more hardware choice, giant screens and 4G. And if not, well, no one will know the difference. Check out the source for additional shots.

Samsung Chromebook 3: Cheaper, more productive alternative to a tablet
## A laptop-shaped improvement to a tablet or smartphone
![](http://images.techhive.com/images/article/2013/03/google_chrome_logo-100027949-medium.png)Google The Samsung Series 3 runs the browser-based Chrome operating system. The Samsung Series 3 looks like a laptop, but it's not. It's equipped with a mobile processor and very little internal storage, and it runs the browser-based Chrome operating system instead of the Apple Mac OS X or Microsoft Windows platform. It performs more like a tablet or advanced smartphone than an ultraportable. If you're looking to do much more than surf the web and create cloud-based content (via Google or another service), then this is not the laptop for you. But if you're looking for a tablet with much better content-creation functionality--namely, an integrated keyboard--then the Samsung Chromebook is an appealing option.
Our review model, which costs $249.99 as configured, sports a 1.7GHz [Samsung Exynos 5](http://www.samsung.com/global/business/semiconductor/minisite/Exynos/products5dual.html) dual-core ARM processor, which is the same mobile system-on-a-chip found in the [Google Nexus 10](http://www.techhive.com/article/2013567/review-googles-nexus-10-is-the-android-tablet-weve-always-wanted-almost.html) tablet. Like the Nexus 10, the Chromebook pairs the Exynos 5 with 2GB of memory and 16GB of hard drive space.
The Chromebook also sports built-in Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, two USB ports (one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0), a 3-in-1 card reader, and a headphone/microphone combination port. There's also an HDMI-out port on the back of the machine. Samsung offers USB dongles for VGA-out and Ethernet (sold separately).

GameStick shipping dev units this month, marks progress on controller, SDK and UI
Things seem to be rolling along nicely for [Kickstarter](http://www.engadget.com/tag/kickstarter/) success story, [GameStick](http://www.engadget.com/tag/gamestick/). The makers of the compact Android console will be shipping a dev unit later this month, measuring slightly larger than the final version, thanks in part to a Type A USB slot for mousing / keyboarding. The company also used its Kickstarter newsletter to note that the controller is "nearing readiness," despite almost giving "the lead mechanical engineer a heart attack," due to its size. GameStick will be releasing an SDK later this week and will be announcing some unnamed partnerships soon (subtly hinting that it will be at ARM's GDC booth this month). The UI, meanwhile, is pretty much done, and the retail excitement is quite high, according to the company. Hopefully this all means that we'll be wrapping our hands around the console soon.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update incoming for Verizon's Galaxy Nexus, rollout to begin 'in phases' today
[Verizon's Galaxy Nexus](http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/16/verizon-galaxy-nexus-review/) is largely considered to be the (Big) Redheaded stepchild of the Nexus line, lagging behind its purebred bretheren in the update department. But the delays are getting shorter and, as the carrier's just confirmed, users should begin to see [Android 4.2.2](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/29/google-bumps-android-to-4-2-keeps-jelly-bean-moniker/) rolling out to their handsets as early as today. Initially [released back in February](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/12/android-4-2-2-update-reportedly-arriving-on-galaxy-nexus-phones/), this Jelly Bean update brings with it the ability to snap 360-degree photospheres, various camera UI improvements (i.e., filters and borders), lockscreen widgets and a Swype-like Gesture keyboard. It's set to be released gradually, so don't despair if that OTA update notification takes a few days to make itself known.

Sony updates SmartWatch with notification previews, new watch faces and better search
Now that connected watches have officially become the 'it' gadget to innovate (see: [Pebble](http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/25/pebble-smartwatch-review/), [I'm Watch](http://www.engadget.com/tag/Im+Watch/) and [Apple](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/10/nyt-apple-experimenting-with-wrist-worn-ios-devices-using-curved-glass/)), [Sony](http://www.engadget.com/tag/sony/) can't just sit back and let its [SmartWatch](http://www.engadget.com/tag/sony%20smartwatch/) quietly finds its footing. Which is why the company's beefing up the user experience and issuing an app update that bolsters the Android timepiece's functionality while also giving it several new, pretty faces. Currently live on Google Play for all users to download, the software update adds notification previews for emails, texts and social media alerts, six watch face options ranging from retro to contemporary styles, a more accurate battery gauge and streamlined search. There's now also nearly 200 compatible apps users can choose from to extend the SmartWatch's functionality. You can go ahead and grab the update now from Play or sit back and wait for it to hit your wrist.

ZTE partnering with Intrepidus to secure future smartphones
[ZTE](http://www.engadget.com/tag/zte) is building up quite a name for itself here in the US and as its market share grows, so too do the [concerns](http://www.engadget.com/2010/11/06/sprint-axes-huawei-zte-telecom-bids-due-to-security-fears/) about the [company](http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/09/huawei-zte-respond-to-congress/) and its wares. Though the Chinese manufacturer isn't saying as much, its new partnership with [Intrepidus](http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/23/android-hack-subways/) feels partially like an effort to [assuage the fears](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/28/zte-lixin-cheng-interview-mwc-2013/) of the American consumer and its government. How the New York-based security firm fits into ZTE's broader plans isn't exactly clear, but the vague press release (after the break) does say that Intrepidus will "investigate the security mechanisms of ZTE-manufactured smartphones," -- phrasing that feels very purposefully chosen. Obviously the ultimate goal is make your personal data safer, and we assume that means both from individual criminal ne'er-do-wells and state actors.

Google Flight Search reaches France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK
While [Google Flight Search](http://www.engadget.com/tag/GoogleFlightSearch/) covers the [far corners](http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/16/google-flight-search-international-expansion/) of the Earth, many of the people who live in those corners haven't had a similar option to explore the world of air travel. Google is taking at least a small step toward ending that discrepancy with a fresh expansion to Europe. Jetsetters in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK can now find flights to and from many parts of the world, with prices and languages tailored to their home countries. As before, travelers can both see real-time prices, gauge the best (read: cheapest) time to book a vacation and filter flights through criteria like prices, timing and WiFi. There's no surprises for locals if they've had the luxury of using Flight Search before -- we just wish we'd had access in time for our [recent trip to Barcelona](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/28/mobile-world-congress-2013-best-of-show/).

XBMC 12.1 makes full use of iPhone 5, improves Raspberry Pi player and more
The XBMC crew hasn't been distracted by its early work on [XBMC 13 Gotham](http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/15/xbmc-team-starts-work-on-version-13-gotham-breaks-down-new-up/) -- it's more than willing to share the love with those who are still busy with [Frodo's adventures](http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/29/xbmc-12-frodo-launches-in-finished-form-with-android-support/). A just-launched XBMC 12.1 update improves the experience in several ways on Apple platforms, rolling up [iOS 6 support](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/22/xbmc-apple-tv-software-update-5-2-ios-6-1/) for second-generation [Apple TV](http://www.engadget.com/tag/AppleTV/) boxes, making full use of the [iPhone 5's](http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/18/apple-iphone-5-review/) expanded screen and bringing support in OS X for both the default audio device and playback acceleration from Intel GPUs. There's a number of upgrades elsewhere as well: XBMC no longer monopolizes audio in Linux, runs more reliably on the [Raspberry Pi](http://www.engadget.com/tag/RaspberryPi/) and supports more Xbox 360 controllers and HDMI-CEC devices. Android has received an audio control tweak of its own and the software is available in seven new languages We'd say 12.1 is a near-automatic download if XBMC is the cornerstone of your living room, hit the source to find out everything new that awaits, or check out the Github link.

Verizon to update the Droid 4 with Jelly Bean 4.1 starting tomorrow
It's always a good day when we can report on older handsets getting updated with some fresher software. If you happen to have bought the [Droid 4](http://www.engadget.com/2012/02/10/motorola-droid-4-review/) when it came out on Verizon last year, then today's your lucky today: the carrier has confirmed it will begin updating the phone to Android Jelly Bean (4.1) starting tomorrow. As always, this is more of a rollout than anything else, so try and stay patient if your phone doesn't immediately show an update prompt. And as ever, do hit us back and let us know how the upgrade goes.

Gmail update lets Jelly Bean users archive and reply to emails from notifications
Got a relatively recent version of Android on your smartphone? Good, because today, Google's giving [Jelly Bean](http://www.engadget.com/tag/jellybean/) users another reason to be happy. In the company's latest update to [Gmail](http://www.engadget.com/tag/gmail/), users will now find the ability to archive, delete and reply to incoming mail directly from the notifications drawer -- a small improvement, but we'll gladly take it. What's more, users of [Ice Cream Sandwich](http://www.engadget.com/tag/icecreamsandwich/) and above will benefit from faster searches (online and off), along with a few performance improvements and bug fixes, too. Pinterest redesign shows pins related by creator and popularity, stokes curiosity
Going on a [Pinterest](http://www.engadget.com/tag/Pinterest/) spree isn't always easy -- not when there's been extra work involved in exploring someone else's board, or figuring out what else is similar. The company may have licked both of those problems with a redesign that's exiting its testing phase today. As of now, visiting a pin will show others from the same board or company, as well as items that fellow explorers have pinned alongside the one you're viewing. Lower-profile changes are in store as well: the pin content itself is bigger, and the site will finally remember your place when you step back from a curious click. Web-based Pinterest fans should soon get an invitation to use the discovery-friendly revamp, while the Android and iOS apps will eventually see the new tricks through updates.

Aviary launches photo-editing SDK for Windows 8 developers
Thanks to a partnership with AMD and Microsoft, Aviary's Photo Editor SDK will be available to Windows 8 developers starting today. While in the long run this could mean Windows 8 will gain more photo-centric apps, this new SDK will bring the the photo service to apps running on Windows 8 notebooks and tablets running AMD processors immediately. The Aviary app has been available on [iOS and Android](http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/13/aviary-photo-editing-ios-android-app/) since last summer, though its customizable SDK is also used by services such as [Flickr](http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/05/flickr-adopting-aviary-photo-editor/) and Twitter, which integrate the photo-editing features into their respective apps. To kick off its launch on Microsoft's most current OS, Aviary announced partnerships with Rowi, Memorylage and several other apps available for download in the Windows Store.

Google Keep briefly teases note-taking utility for Drive, vanishes soon after
Another day, another leak from Google. As _The Next Web_ reports, a note-collecting service called Keep was accessible on [Google Drive](http://www.engadget.com/tag/googledrive/) for a short period of time last night -- and if your short-term memory is a bit cloudy, Drive itself got leaked in a similarly bizarre fashion before getting official last year. _1E100_ had initially found source code, images and various links that seemed to point to Keep, which apparently went live soon after. Interestingly, while all of the links point to error pages, one redirects to a specific, unresolveable app url on Google Play. _Android Police_ was able to snag some screenshots of the web app in action -- albeit disconnected from Drive at the time -- noting that it's reminiscent of Mountain View's late Notebook service that was killed in '09. Whether the likes of [Evernote](http://www.engadget.com/tag/Evernote/) will have to worry remains to be seen, but the added functionality to Drive will certainly be appreciated -- now, how about letting us get at that [Now app](http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/12/alleged-google-now-for-ios-video-leaks/) for iOS?

Sony Xperia SP announced, we go hands-on (video)
While the Sony's Xperia Z tablet and smartphone occupy its high-end Android selection, it's now the turn of the middleweights. Say hello to the Xperia SP, a 4.6-inch phone that ties together the some of the features (and design cues) from both the [S](http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/08/sony-xperia-s-review/) and [P](http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/03/sony-xperia-p-review/) models of 2012 -- yep, it's all in the name. Alongside a 720p screen with Sony's Bravia Mobile Engine 2, there's an 8-megapixel Exmor RS sensor on the back, NFC, LTE and a dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon MSM8960 Pro processor. That's all built into a classy aluminum frame that's just shy of 10mm thick and weighs 5.5 ounces. The phone marks the return of Sony's see-through strip, but with a slightly more advanced (and customizable) notification light built into it. We managed to spend a bit of time with the device last month, so please hop past the break for some more impressions and our hands-on video.

Sony Xperia L: a budget Android device with a focus on imaging and style
The days of the _new_ [Sony Mobile](http://www.engadget.com/tag/sony/) are now long past. Two years in, and the company appears to have hit a stride with its smartphone portfolio, churning out new [Xperias](http://www.engadget.com/tag/xperia/) on a consistent basis. And today is no different with the unveiling of the Xperia L, a mid- to low-end effort that places a heavy emphasis on the camera experience. Carrying on the Arc's legacy, this 4.3-inch handset packs an FWVGA display, dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, 1,700mAh battery, 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD), NFC and an 8-megapixel rear shooter with [Exmor RS](http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/20/sony-exmor-rs-cameraphone-sensor-hdr-video/) sensor into a conspicuously curved body rounded off with that signature Xperia power key.
Though it lacks the greater resolution and screen size of its 720p sibling the [SP](http://www.engadget.com/tag/xperiasp/), this more budget-friendly device does enjoy an exclusive perk: HDR stills _and_ video. A feature Sony's included to make the L an attractive point-and-shoot option for budget-minded consumers concerned with style points and not LTE or raw performance. Unsurprisingly, it comes pre-loaded with a trio of Sony's own media apps -- Walkman, Movies and Album -- a precedent it set at IFA last year.

Switched On: Chrome on the range
![DNP Switched On Chrome on the range](http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2013/03/chromeontherange.jpg)
If Chrome OS didn't start out with an inferiority complex living in the shadow of the massive adoption of its cousin Android, and with Eric Schmidt dismissing the hardware that would run it as cheap and interchangeable, the hardware companies that were early to adopt it didn't help matters. Chrome OS arrived on devices that weren't priced competitively against then-popular netbooks.
Since then, though, the Chrome hardware story has been on a steady upswing. Thanks to Acer, Chromebooks [broke](http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/26/acer-c7-chromebook-review/) the $200 price point. Thanks to Samsung, they made the leap to the [ARM architecture](http://www.engadget.com/2012/11/07/samsung-chromebook-review-2012/), enabling longer battery life in a thin form factor. And thanks to HP and Lenovo, Chromebooks have joined the portfolios of two of the biggest names in corporate computing. While it may be nowhere near Android's scale in terms of overall devices, [Chrome OS](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/21/chrome-os-update-auto-arranges-windows-supports-multi-display/) is now offered by three of 2012's top Windows PC manufacturers. That is certainly enough to show up on Microsoft's radar. Into this fray comes the [Chromebook Pixel](http://www.engadget.com/2013/02/25/chromebook-pixel-review/) and it has clearly learned from other successful ecosystems.
