After debuting them on [iPad](http://www.engadget.com/2012/03/21/directv-ipad-app-adds-some-tv-and-movie-streaming-everywhere/) and [Android](http://www.engadget.com/2012/04/26/directv-everywhere-android-app-tv-movie-streaming/), DirecTV has finally brought "Everywhere" features to the iPhone. That includes video on demand access to a number of shows and movies no matter where you are, as well as the [in-home only live TV streaming feature previously seen on the iPad](http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/26/directvs-ipad-app-updated-with-live-tv-streaming-as-long-as-yo/) (but not on Android, yet.) DirecTV has also added its own exclusive Audience Network to the list of streaming channels which should add additional content to watch. The one drawback? Like many other TV provider apps, we're hearing this one isn't meant to work on jailbroken devices and after users update it won't even open, cutting off other features like DVR scheduling. Man not working on a jail broken phone is quite the drawback for sure. I am just glad that now iPhone users can join in on the 50 channels of live streaming in their house, where there are televisions that have access to all their subscribed channels. On the bright side of life though, DirecTV increased their out of house live stream 100% by adding one channel to be used on the app anywhere, that being DirecTV’s own Audience Network. I like streaming and I do a lot of it every week. The bonus in this situation is that I don’t have to be stuck in the house to stream live channels like DirecTV, with my sling adapter working with the Dish Remote Access app I can stream any of my live subscribed channels and recorded shows to my mobile device no matter where I am.
