Native Facebook app for Android is in the final phases of internal testing

Remember when Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook's [HTML5 Android app](http://www.engadget.com/2012/08/23/facebook-android-update-events-messaging-photos-emoji/) was a [mistake](http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/11/zuckerberg-html-5-facebook-mobile-app-mistake/)? Well, one of our tipsters, embedded deep inside [_the Social Network_](http://www.engadget.com/2010/12/15/sony-schedules-the-social-network-blu-ray-for-release-january-11/), has let us know that the native version for [Google's mobile OS](http://www.engadget.com/2011/12/06/facebook-for-android-refresh-dedicated-places-app-on-the-way/) has entered final testing. As such, it won't be long before the software is ready for consumption by the public at large, give or take an angry Winklevii or two.
